Bristol Dystopian Journey.

I was set a task to produce an app that aims to show Bristol in a new and different way. I decided to make a location based app that would give users a dystopian view of Bristol.

When a user goes into one of the 4 hot spots shown, audio and graphics would automatically appear creating an audio narrative journey. Users were asked to use their imagination when on the app, but the graphics produced aimed to help them imagine what it would be like for a dystopian style Bristol.

I am part of a new collective of young professionals putting on nights in the South West. We all have different talents to bring to the table, ranging from fabrication to graphic design. Our first night was on the 29th March, where we played to a sold out event. My main role in Uncharted is to provide all visuals for the night, event production, logistics and DJ. We have many more events planned, with some interesting and creative ideas which we are hoping to implement.

Continuing with UEFA's Champions league PR Advertising, Projection Artworks were asked back to provide another large scale projection next to the Principality stadium in Cardiff for BT. We used the same 20k Barco projector as we did with the Walkers projection.

The public enjoying the football atmosphere were able to tweet a certain hashtag so that their tweet would be shown on the projection, along with match highlights and various over video content.

"The animation for BT Sport will tell the journey of the UEFA Champions League through footage captured by BT showcasing key celebratory moments, behind the scenes studio clips and fan reactions, before fan tweets and posts".

I worked as a projectionist as part of Projection artworks for a weekly projection live stream for Walkers crisps. The projection was in partnership with Walkers, Tescos and the UEFA Champions league. The job was spread over 4 weeks which included set-up and de-rig on each weekend. We used 4x20K barco projectors and a Watchout media server to control the video. The projection was then live streamed to Walkers Facebook page.

As part of Airdrawn, we provided lasers for the first leg of Eats Everything South West tour. We used the lasers to draw around the Big floating E's and gave him some acid smiley faces which bounced around the room. At Airdrawn, we have a close relationship with Eats Everything and we always enjoy working with his team. I also VJ'd for his headline set at the in:Motion opening party.

As part of Airdrawn, we we're the resident VJ's for both 2016 and 2017 in:Motion events. These included events from promoters such as Nightowl, Run, Crack magazine and the opening and closing nights. Airdrawn also provided lasers on request and we worked closely with the motion production team to make sure the night was looking its best.

I worked with Airdrawn and Deadbeat productions as a production assistant. I operated lighting and supported the team members whilst learning a vast range of filming, laser and production techniques.
